Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Main Street Jewelers of Parker ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website, visiting our retail store, or utilizing our services (including purchases, custom design, repairs, and appraisals), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Provisions
By using our services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
2. Products, Pricing, and Descriptions
Accuracy: We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors, sizes, and details of our jewelry. However, due to natural variations in gemstones, metals, and the display settings on your device, we cannot guarantee that the physical item will be an exact match to an online image.
Pricing Errors: All prices are subject to change without notice. In the event a product or service is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in pricing information received from our suppliers, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the item listed at the incorrect price.
Availability: All items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer, and to discontinue any product at any time.
3. Purchases and Payment
All payments are due at the time of purchase unless an alternative arrangement (such as a layaway plan or financing) has been explicitly agreed upon in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and approved financing. For custom designs or special orders, a non-refundable deposit of [e.g., 50%] is required before production begins.
4. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our return policy is as follows:
Standard Showcase Items: Standard inventory pieces may be returned within [e.g., 14/30] days of purchase for a full refund or store credit, provided the item is in its original, unworn condition with all original packaging, tags, and documentation (e.g., diamond grading reports).
Custom & Special Orders: Custom-designed jewelry, special orders (items not kept in standard stock), and modified items (including sized rings and engraved pieces) are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Restocking Fees: Items returned without their accompanying certifications or original paperwork may be subject to a replacement fee of [e.g., $150 - $250].
5. Repair Services and Appraisals
Repair Authorization: By submitting an item for repair, you authorize our jewelers to perform the necessary work.
Inherent Risks: While we handle every piece of jewelry with the utmost care, certain inherent risks exist in jewelry repair, particularly with fragile or heavily worn stones (e.g., emeralds, opals, or heavily included diamonds). We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing structural flaws, internal inclusions, or prior repairs performed by other jewelers.
Appraisal Accuracy: Appraisals represent a professional estimate of the approximate retail replacement value of an item based on current market conditions. They are not a guarantee that the item can be sold for that exact amount.
6. Layaway Policy
We offer layaway plans as a courtesy to our customers. A minimum deposit of [e.g., 20%] is required, with the balance to be paid in full within [e.g., 90 days]. If the layaway is canceled by the customer, or if the customer fails to complete the payments within the agreed timeframe, the item will be returned to stock, and any payments made will be converted to store credit (less a [e.g., 10%] restocking fee).
7. Intellectual Property
All content included on our website and in our store—including but not limited to custom jewelry designs, logos, text, graphics, and images—is the property of Main Street Jewelers of Parker or our vendors, and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, or copy any of our original designs or materials without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Main Street Jewelers of Parker shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, the purchase of our products, or the utilization of our services. In no event shall our maximum liability exceed the total purchase price of the specific product or service in question.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [State, e.g., Colorado], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to our business shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in [County], [State].
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates to our website or providing notice in-store. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes.
